Where to begin?

This past week brought a much needed vacation to the lake. The Lavender family came with us and the Plavacs joined us for the first couple days. All the children went tubing for their first time, Gideon learned to swim, we went for several boat trips and enjoyed the beautiful weather all week. The lake was the least crowded I've ever seen it in the summer - maybe five or six boats passed a day and the water was as smooth as glass most of the week. On Wednesday, we ventured to Social Circle and ate at the Blue Willow Inn - any restuarant that Lewis Grizzard had given his "absolute highest mark, 5 bowls of turnip greens," I had to try for myself and it did not disappoint.
